Doctor Leland's words faded out as an infectious whistling in the next cell up caught his attention. Harland arched an eyebrow and looked into the cell, investigating the inmate within. His eyes widened just a bit when he actually looked her over.
Several things kept this woman from being conventionally beautiful. The first was that she looked sharp. Every edge on her came to a dangerous point, from the tip of her nose to the edges of her slicked-back and voluminous hair. She even managed to make the customary Arkham inmate uniform look like it could cut you.
The second was that she, quite simply, didn't look at all natural. Her skin was chalk white and her lips maraschino cherry-red, while her hair was a rich green that could have passed for black if it were much darker. The woman was of average height, but her extremely slight build made her look far shorter than she was. She was thin enough to worry people, and Harland was certain he could pick her up with only one arm. The only halfway normal thing about her was her reddish brown irises, but her eyes were almost almond shaped, giving those an illusion of sharpness as well.
The third he didn't see until the two of them locked eyes. She stopped whistling and grinned at him, showing off too straight, too white teeth. Calling her grin 'the grin of a killer' didn't do it justice. That grin wanted to do far more than just kill you. It wanted to do things to you that the common world would find horrible, but it would find absolutely hilarious, and it would do them slowly until the joke got old. Then it would kill you.
And it was the most attractive thing Doctor Harland Quinzelle had ever seen in his life.
In a livestream tonight where we watched Batman episodes, one of the episodes we watched was Mad Love. Being stupid and egotistical, I had to imagine it with my genderbent versions of the Joker and Harley. And that inspired this. ENJOY.
This is really great Fabulous work with your lady joker
That's the thing about the Joker he/she is so angular. Like if you touched her you'd cut yourself. Even her pupils are angular.
And while normally round shapes are considered feminine, the Joker woman here is beautiful. I feel her beauty and her danger. She's like a siren, a she vampire who'll rip you apart, a spider who'll lay her eggs in your belly and when they eat you and hatch she'll kill her offspring.
Yeah, my two definitive words for defining my lady!Joker are 'sharp' and '80s hair' (since her hair is kind of ridiculous). Yeah, I wanted Joker to look beautiful but threatening, though emphasis more on the threatening. … That analogy is wonderful. I want to marry it.
