The Five Man Band is a group of characters whose members fall into archetypes which all complement one another. They are a very specific team with skills that contribute to the group in a unique way.
The Hero — The leader of the group. Can be clean-cut and upstanding, bold and charismatic, serious and driven, or some combination of the three. I've started a new little art series, based on the Five Man Band trope~ Black Annis has an almost perfect Five Man Band, with Champy up there as the 'Hero'. Champ only really has the 'bold and charismatic' part, LOL, and even though he is the leader he's not a hero in the way you would normally think. He's more like an anti-hero. REVAMPED BIO TIME!! Character Profile; Name: Christopher Constantine I Alias(s): Emperor Constantine, Champ(primary alias, uses this in place of his name), Christopher the Champion, Champ-teme, Master Gender: Male Race: Greek Species: Black Annis -Age- Age of Sou/Mind/Maturity: 572 Age of Body: 17 Date of Birth: December 12th, 1436 Height: 6' 1'' Astrological sign: Sagittarius Chinese zodiac sign: =_=;; The best chart of these I can find only goes back to 1925... Blood Type: O+ Physical Description; Hair Style: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT, LOOK AT IT YOURSELF!! Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Olive Gold Build: Tall, thin, not obviously muscular but they're there Physical Condition: AWESOME >:C Markings: Persides scars, None Clothing: Mostly wears his black trench coat, black/dark brown striped shirt with a skull decal on it, black jeans and sneakers. Because he gets bored at Kimyou's apartment alone, he also goes to school with her so his school uniform is a white collared shirt(long sleeved in winter), black pants and nondescript black shoes. Personality; Likes: Fancy food, cooking, being clean, the movie Mean Girls, sushi, being active, animals, bloodshed, poking people, doing things just because he can, fresh water, music, attention(it's like crack to him), women, singing, western cartoons, anime, making references, being annoying towards people he doesn't like Dislikes: Fast/cheap food, being dirty, the movie Kung Fu Panda, cooked fish, being bored, animal cruelty, negotiations, politics, people slapping away his hands when he goes to poke them, people restraining him from doing stupid things, salt water, fire, lightning, death, most live action TV, duct tape(it has gone over his mouth many times), his mother, homosexuals, people who love him before he has the chance to love them Fears: He's afraid of fire, the sea, the SO leader, Serafe, thunderstorms, homosexuals, and death Goals: Live for as long as possible, be as happy as possible Occupation: Unemployed, but he makes it his job to kill other zombies CAUSE HE CAN. He steals all the money he needs. Hobbies: Killing zombies, cooking, poking people, being generally annoying, going out and picking up girls, finding animals to have '  et the dog' moments with, stealing things, showering, making things out of masking tape and trash, watching anime, finding internet memes to quote, etc.Favorite food: Squid, most sushi Least favorite food: Any kind of fast food or cheap food Prized possession(s): His beloved trench coat, he even gave it a name. It's name is John Q. AWESOME-COAT. Vernacular (way of speaking): Champ never really sounds serious in casual conversation unless he actually IS serious. When speaking Japanese he likes to switch dialects spontaneously in the middle of a sentence just to weird people out. Sometimes he just likes to switch languages on people. Character behavior: Champ is impulsive and overly dramatic, doing everything he does for the LULZ and always over doing it. Because besides 'The Ends Justify the Means', 'If it's worth doing it's worth over doing' is his other personal motto. He loves to be generally irritating and will poke people or be rather weird when talking with them, and switches moods a lot. He is an attention whore, so he loves to steal the spotlight. It's like crack to him. He likes to keep his movements lucid and flowing, and tends to cock his head to the side when he's confused. It's amazingly cute. Social and other pressure/problems: Just look above *sigh* Relationships: Champ is extremely flirty with Kimyou, but because she's rejecting him he's starting to fall for her. Champ isn't exactly fond of Kuroi or on the best terms with him most of the time, but Champ secretly does think Kuroi's a good person and likes him a lot. He also likes many of the other people in their gang and in Nefastus but alas, many of them don't return it. Except Ikari, whom Champ hates because he's a homophobe, and Serafe, who Champ is afraid of. Champ hates pretty much all of the SO, especially Chambers because he hates most people who love him and the SO leader even though Champ is afraid of him. He used to hate his mother because of his little mental problem, but he loved his father and strived to make him proud. Positive Characteristics: Champ is determined and strong-willed with tons of charisma and experience as a leader. His willpower is amazingly strong and Champ can be very nice to people he has grown to like. Also, Champ will protect and stay loyal to those he has grown attached to as well. Negative Characteristics: Champ is extremely egotistical, an attention whore, impulsive, believes the ends justify the means no matter what, has a little problem regarding restraint in battle, is a womanizer, does most things for personal gain, has trouble letting people in, hates people that love him- especially if they love him before he even meets them- and is very emotionally fragile on the inside. He will also not take being betrayed well, but not with anger, more like he'll basically shut down all mental function and wallow in a little hole of sadness. And he hates pity. Abilities; Physical: Champ's strength and stamina are unmatched, except by the SO leader. He's pretty fast as well, but not uber fast. Because Champ is technically dead, he cannot get tired or exhausted. This little fact here is what initially caused him to have trouble with restraint in battle. Special: He can regenerate his body to a point, not age or die of natural causes, negate most poisons that enter his system, grow blades that vary in length from any of his knuckles(he likes to keep them at the length of an average knife), and create zombies. When someone tries to kill him out of revenge and fails, he gets to keep them as his slave who will not age as long as they're his slave and will die if he dies. He is able to set them free if he wants to or kill them if he decides he doesn't want them anymore. They can also be freed if someone who truly loves them is able mortally wound Champ in a fight. Other: ... WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?! Current Info; Mother: Anna Constantine(Deceased) Father: Name Unknown(Deceased) Siblings: None Birthplace: Constantinople, Byzantium Empire Home: New Tokyo East Block, Japan Pets/Animal Companions: Heracles Allies: Most of the other 'good' characters General Description: Champ was born the heir to the throne of the Byzantine emperor. He loved his father and hated his mother for reasons stated prior to this. His life was rather uneventful, but when he ascended the throne at fifteen he immediately despised his subjects for loving him and schemed a way to destroy them. When the wars between the Ottomans and Byzantine started, Champ collaborated with their sultan who was not much older than him to let them win, all while he intended to betray them in turn and claim all glory for himself. He and the sultan got along rather well and Byzantine fell, but the sultan immediately hated Champ for killing his own mother and a girl who had known and had a crush on Champ since childhood. The sultan killed Champ after he learned of his plan to betray him, and when he was being judged by God and The Devil, the Devil- for some entertainment- decided to let him loose on the world with the title 'Christopher the Champion' as a Black Annis. Champ decided to travel the world, keeping many aliases and never getting too attached to people. He decided to kill zombies because he found them disgusting. A while back, Champ almost killed a man named Takashi Monomezurashii for some reason or another while in Japan, but his fiancee Kairae Uruwashii thought that Champ actually HAD killed Takashi and tried to kill Champ out of revenge. It didn't work. So, Champ got a brand new slave. Of course he flirted with her, but she resisted him so Champ became interested and eventually fell very much in love with her. She had also grown to be somewhat polite to him and would smile at him sometimes. But one day Takashi returned and was able to free Kairae, who dropped Champ without a second thought. Champ felt horribly betrayed, and he decided to never let anyone in again. This event not only caused Champ to be very emotionally fragile inside but also caused his hatred of pity to become violent, since when Kairae and Takashi essentially left him to die Kairae spared him a backward glance that was pitying look. Champ had fun massacring zombies during the Uprising, and when he discovered Kairae and Takashi's son Hikaru he killed him without a second thought, mostly because he thought that Hikaru was Takashi, who was currently MIA. Hikaru's sister Kimyou tried to kill him out of revenge like her mother had, and failed just like her mother had. And now Champ is falling in love with her, just like for Kairae. Only this time Kimyou's reciprocating them somewhat!
